I also miss this feature :-) 
 
I'm currently migrating to konqueror - but some sites are coded 
very bad - and then i have to start the mozilla-monster :-) 
 
I have a very large bookmark-list - so it will be very welcome 
to import this list dynamically :-) 
 
A implementation can look like this: 
 
-> A simple  
 
  find ~/.mozilla -name "bookmarks.html" 
 
  discovers the different bookmark-files 
 
-> Now you can select and save the location of one of the Files  
 
-> The Bookmarks are imported to a certain "Mozilla-Menu", 
   and will be updated when as soon as the file is modified. 
 
In my mozilla-profile "find" finds three files: 
 
/home/marc/.mozilla/Default User/4n6wluc9.slt/AT/bookmarks.html 
/home/marc/.mozilla/Default User/4n6wluc9.slt/US/bookmarks.html 
/home/marc/.mozilla/Default User/4n6wluc9.slt/bookmarks.html 
 
The directory /home/marc/.mozilla/Default User/4n6wluc9.slt is  
generated randomly - but the right file was always located at 
 
/home/marc/.mozilla/Default User/<random>.slt/bookmarks.html 
 
A automatic export of the konqueror-bookmarks at start-time to this file 
would be also very nice :-))
