Summary: File selection dialog does not work correctly
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: cle@sbox.tugraz.at

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

Suppose you have a directory that contains some Matlab files (1.m, 2.m, 3.m, 1.mat, 2.mat) and \
you want to select only the m-files. Strg++ brings up the selection dialog, and when entering \
*.m, all files ending with .m* are selected. Is this behavior correct? IMHO, *.m means only \
files that end with .m, but Konqueror acts like I meant *.m*. \
