just found it out while filing an bug report :)

have a tab with a one line input field (e.g. bugzilla page here) and type some text there. cursor stays \
in that field. have another tab and change to that tab and back. cursor is still in input field and \
blinking but it's not possible to enter text until you click in this input field again.
