Summary: "Smart" javascript popup policy not smart enough
(smile.co.uk account login page is blank)
           Product: konqueror
           Version: 4.0
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: khtml
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: nik@freebsd.org

Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 4.8-RC

Note: This is *not* the same as an earlier bug report involving smile.co.uk. That \
report was about Java, this is something different.

Smile's (http://www.smile.co.uk/) account login page is blank. Go to that URL, and \
from the "account login" drop box at the top left, choose "bank login".

A new window will pop up. This should contain a handful of form elements -- account \
number, sort code, VISA number, passcode, and a submit button. Instead, it's blank, \
making it impossible to log in.

IE (Windows and Mac), and Mozilla (Windows, Mac, and FreeBSD) work fine. I have \
Mozilla's popup blocking enabled. Konqueror doesn't.

Safari on the Mac (both of the public betas, and the recently released 1.0) with \
popup blocking enabled behaves in the same way.

I've got "Enable JavaScript globally" enabled, and the "JavaScript Web Popups Policy" \
is set to "Smart".

If I change it to "Ask" then I get prompted twice when the new window appears, and \
then things seems to work. _______________________________________________
