Summary: Have "New tab" and a "Close current tab" buttons like
                    mozilla has
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: holle@holger-lehmann.net

Version: Unbekannt (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19

The usability of tabbed browsing would increase significantly if we had a "New tab" \
button on the left of the tab-list and a "Close current tab" button on the right of \
the tab-list. They do not need to be shown, if there are no tabs. Simply let them \
appear when tabbed browsing begins. Look at a current mozilla release (e.g. 1.2.1 or \
1.3a) for a picture of what I mean (make shure to have at least two tabs to see this \
:-) ) Both buttons are on the extra-toolbar. But that toolbar cannot easily be placed \
in a good spot :-( (needs to squeeze between last main toolbar button an the progress \
indicator to be in a good spot) You can have the two buttons appear on the main \
toolbar. That means people have to sutomize their settings, which they will \
eventually mess up :-))

TIA, Holger
