Summary: Context menus in konqueror are cluttered
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: arkmch@priv4.onet.pl

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

The context menu in konqueror-the-web-browser should *only* contain entries relevant \
to the currently selected element.

For instance for a link there should the context menu should look like this:

Open in background tab (although this could be removed with the default behaviour \
specified in preferences) Save as...
Properties...
... other entries relevant to a link

If a portion of a text is selected there should be the following entries:
Copy
Select all
Search in the current page
... other entries relevant to text

When no link, image, or a portion of the text is highlighted or selected, the context \
menu should contain entries relevant to the page as a whole such as encoding, \
security, document source, animations and the navigation commands.

I know it's a controversial issue, but I feel that navigation commands (forward, \
back, reload, etc.) on every context menu are unnecessary. \
