Summary: netscape mail fails to authenticate 3.1 release
           Product: konqueror
           Version: 4.0
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: khtml
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: lrutledge@fairfield.lib.oh.us

Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19

3.0 release allowed my to log in to my Netscape email account. Under 3.1rc5 and \
3.1release, Netscape bounces me all around the internet as usual (doing redirections) \
and pops up this window:

You are about to leave secure mode. Transmissions will no longer be encrypted.
This means that a third party could observe your data in transit.

Whether I choose "Continue Loading" or "Cancel", I bounce around and land on this \
page:

Sorry, An Error Occurred.

Clicking 'here' takes me back to the login page.

I'm entering this because it is different from bug 45629 in behavior.

I think this should be easy enough to reproduce, surprised I didn't see another bug \
along these lines. _______________________________________________
