When viewing this site: http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/ Konqueror and X use a total \
of 100% of CPU on my laptop (333MHz Celeron). On my desktop (1.2GHz duron) total CPU \
usage is approx 25%. I don't have the flash plugin installed on either machine.

On the laptop, the machine slows down a lot because X is very busy and the mouse \
updates infrequently.

It is not due to the animated GIFs as pressing the Stop Animations menu option does \
not reduce the CPU load on the laptop, and only partially reduces it on the desktop \
