------- Additional Comments From alex-berger@gmx.ch  2002-11-30 11:40 -------
Ok I've just found a page which is displayed nearly entirely in squares
"http://validator.w3.org/check".
<p>
while loading the page is displayed correctly, but as soon as it is completly loaded
the square thing happens. When I comment out the CSS loading in the HTML
source the page gets displayed corectly but with CSS it does not work.
<br/><br/>
The CSS file is:<br/>
http://validator.w3.org/base.css
</p>
<p>
The CSS file contains the following style definiton for body:<br/>
<pre>
body {
  line-height:     120%;
  color:           black;
  background:      white;
  font-weight:     normal;
  word-spacing:    normal;
  letter-spacing:  normal;
  text-transform:  none;
  font-family:     Tahoma, Verdana, "Myriad Web", Syntax, sans-serif;
  font-style:      normal;
  text-decoration: none;
  word-spacing:    normal;
  letter-spacing:  normal;
  text-transform:  none;
}
</pre>
<br/>
I commented out the "font-family" and the page was displayed correctly. So it seems
to be a problem of the font-family set by the CSS.
</p>
