KDE. This suggests that the bug has already been fixed. The bug report will

The nsplugins directory, e.g. /opt/netscape/plugins and dito links do not find \
plugger.so. The nspluginscan halts at 50 per cent and finds only libflashplayer.so \
for each directory listed. It is thus not possible to get any sound into Konqi Web \
Browser, especially not html coded background sounds wheather they are coded \
according to IE standard or NS standard. As I am not alone in this predicament please \
