Subject: netscape flash plugin gives error in nspluginscan
From: cvd@mens-informatica.net

Package:           nspluginscan
Version:           KDE 2.1.1
Severity:          normal
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
Compiler:          Not Specified
OS:                Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I really want Flash working under Konqueror, but so far it only gives me trouble :(

The plugin works great with Netscape, no problem at all. But when I do nspluginscan I \
get the following messages: [cvd@PietjePuk cvd]$ nspluginscan
Xlib: extension "RENDER" missing on display ":0.0".
kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: library=/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/cpPack1.jar: \
file=/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/cpPack1.jar: /usr/lib/netscape/plugins/cpPack1.jar: \
invalid ELF header kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: \
library=/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/ShockwaveFlash.class: \
file=/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/ShockwaveFlash.class: \
/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/ShockwaveFlash.class: invalid ELF header [cvd@PietjePuk \
cvd]$

When I look in ~/.kde/share/apps/nsplugins/pluginsinfo I can see the following info:
description=Shockwave Flash 4.0 r12
file=libflashplayer.so
mime=application/x-shockwave-flash:swf:Shockwave \
Flash;application/futuresplash:spl:FutureSplash Player name=Shockwave Flash

But when I visit a page with Flash, I get the new window loading Macromedia's site, \
saying I don't have the plugin. The plugin doesn't execute the .swf.
