This html demonstrates the problem:

<select type="text" name="foo">
    <option value="1" />Option 1
    <option value="2" />Option 2
    <option value="3" />Option 3

</html>

This shows up with the Option strings in the list in Mozilla, IE, and Opera, but Konq \
doesn't use them. It may be incorrect HTML.. but it works in every other browser, \
browsers which people test their pages against to make sure they work, and if it \
doesn't in Konqueror, it makes these pages unusable.
