A similar bug (#7990) seems to be reported before and marked as done.

I have a problem accessing the Greater Victoria Public Library Online Catalogue at

http://gweb.gvpl.ca:8000/

When I click on "Click here to use our catalogue" I get an error "Connection to host \
gweb.gvpl.ca is broken" and all further actions are ignored. Opera 6.02 also has \
problems with this site.

The web catalogue is accessible with Netscape 4.79 and Mozilla 1.1.
