Firstly, I can't find a way to report a problem which occurs consistently between \
many KDE applications. It seems unlikely that this is actually a Konqueror bug, but \
it is the only KDE application I regularly use. I use the Konqueror URL bar as an \
example, this can be reproduced with other applications such as kate.

If I select text in xterm, and use middle click in the konqueror URL bar, it works \
fine. However, if the text is deselected in xterm, the middle-click paste into KDE no \
longer works. However, middle-click paste into other non-KDE apps, such as xterm or \
gvim, still works.

This lack of consistency is quite irritating.
