Package: konqueror
Version: unknown (using KDE 2.2.2 -1)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.3-12
OS/Compiler notes:

It seems that konqueror tends to forget the selections of the user, and the file it \
was working with:

ONE:
0. Open home folder
1. drag around a file except the first file in the folder
2. now press enter
3. the first file/folder get opened not the selected one.

TWO:
0. Open home folder
1. select a text file by dragging around it or pressing spacebar
2. click on it or press enter
3. it get previewed
4. now press the 'back' button or alt+left_arrow key
5. the file you selected is no longer selected and hence causing much inconvenience \
to the user

THREE:
0. Open home folder
1. select few files by dragging around them or by shift+arrow keys
2. press 'reload' button or press F5
3. the selection is gone

The bug no. TWO and Three was reported much earlier than 2.1 and even KDE 2.2.2 has \
these bugs!!!

Don't mind but don't set 'DONE' on bug reports unless and until they are fixed. The \
second bug report was not fix but declared 'done'. The bug no. was: #10355 and this \
was reported for kde 1.93 !!!!
