Subject: Bug#34316: dont store broken/unreachable urls in the history list
From: knweiss () gmx ! de
Date: 2001-10-31 10:45:41
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: konqueror
Version: 3.0 (using KDE 2.2.1 -1)
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.13-ac4
OS/Compiler notes:
Sometimes I enter an url and make spelling mistake. These urls are unreachable most \
of the time. But nevertheless they will be stored in konquerors history list. IMHO \
this useless data only pollutes the list.
Wouldnt it be a good idea to store an url in the history list iff it is reachable?
