It shows that Konquerer textareas that do not contain  &lt;!-- but 
other text. I'm just wondering if you actually loaded my file into 
konquerer (that is, into konqi 2.2.1).

No one is saying that Konquerer mishandles ALL contents in textareas. 
Just the <!-- after a HTML quotation confuses the textarea.

No, it has not. I checked the web page with nsgmls. This is a SGML 
checker that is even used by the W3C consortion to check web pages for 
faultyness. The check only showed one violation, that the 'wrap="off"' 
is not in the HTML 4.0 DTD. The SGML layout was perfect. so I would say 
I can exclude this error possibility.

And even when I delete the reference to the CSS file it won't show the 
contents of the textarea.

However, I can give the CSS file, too. It's in the attachment. But I 
doubt that this is the real problem.  :-)
