I have upgraded my kde 2.1.1 to kde 2.2.1 on my Debian GNU/Linux system. Kde itself \
and all applications work well except konqueror. If I try to launch konqueror (e.g. \
via terminal launch) it takes a long time. Nothing happens (no warnings no error \
messages). After a long time the prompt from the terminal is back but the konqueror \
is not launched at all. If I look for running processes I see an entry: konqueror \
--silent.

The konqueror can be launched from any other window manager (e.g. window maker, xfce \
etc.) and works fine.
