Hello Kolab Users!

I'm having a rather embarrassing issue with KMail: I can't connect to
Kolabnow!

I followed the guide on:

https://kolabnow.com/clients/kontact

to the letter, with no success. I repeated all the steps, rechecked my
password, rechecked spelling, server ports, used the same login as when
accessing my webmail.

It seems that there is *some* connectivity, since I can use the "Auto
detect" button, but when I look into the Configure > Accounts >
Receiving, I see that the Kolab account is cycling between
Ready/Offline/Server not available.

I tested this on:

- KMail 4.14.10 on openSUSE Leap 42.1
- KMail 5.1.3 on on Ubuntu Mate 16.04 in a VM;

with no success.

This looks like a network issue, but again: I have K9-Mail on my Android
and it seems to connect just fine (as per instructions here:
https://kolabnow.com/clients/android ). Although I must admit I'm using
the hot-spot feature of my phone to share a connection with my laptop.

I tried performing a traceroute to imap.kolabnow.com and at 200 hops I
still can't reach the server. I'm not a network guy, so I'm not sure if
this is "a lot" or "little".

I would appreciate any help to diagnose the situation further.

Best regards,
Bartosz Bednarski
