New submission from Bernhard Herzog <bh@intevation.de>:

When using kontact with kolab, the user has to frequently sync their local =
cache
with the server. This is done with the "Check Mail In" button in the toolb=
ar of
the email component (or the equivalent menu item which likewise is only vis=
ible
in the email component). This is unintuitive, as checking mail usually onl=
y
means to retrieve mail.

Also, most users aren't aware that contacts and calendar entries are mail i=
n
kolab so they would never guess that they have to "check mail" to update th=
eir
calendars. In addition, having to switch to the mail component to do they =
sync
even though you just want to sync your calendar changes to the server is a =
nuisance.

It would be much better to have a button that is visible in all toolbars th=
at
syncs with the kolab server.
