Hi all,

We're currently resurrecting the Kolab cvs. We want to continue the
development of the kolab server in here, instead of everyone having local
copies of the patched versions. The goal is to have working OpenPKG
packages in here for all the necessary Kolab packages.

The first work Steffen Hansen and I have done was to import the current
state of the kolab and perl-kolab packages into cvs. We have taken the
old Kolab server package, put the Code Fusion work on it and checked the
new package into cvs. So the version in here is now basically the same as
the ones on zfos.org.

However, we have also integrated amavisd and spamassassin in the process,
and to do this, we needed some packages from OpenPKG current. We will put
the new packages somewhere on kolab.org very soon, and post instructions
on how to build these and also how to build the cvs packages.

So consider this just a heads-up mail that we're getting back into the
development process now, and that our first part of this is to put
together the pieces of the Kolab server that have been scattered in
several locations. This goes together with the call for wishes Bernhard
wrote another mail about.

I would like to get some feedback from everyone involved in this.
Especially Code Fusion that have kept working on the Kolab engine and web
admin, and the OpenPKG people that have made the very easy to use
packages.

You can find the instructions on accessing the cvs server on
www.kolab.org.

Bo.
