Ok, this might be a general kde-topic, but since karbon is yet a
koffice-app i try to start a flame war here first.

"Settings" is about changing how stuff/the application behaves.
"View" is about showing/hiding stuff
</lenny's pov>

At least that's a standard interpretation in the world outside of kde.

Artists are quite picky about how their favorite application looks and
feels. Having "show toolbar blah" in "settings" feels totally wrong to me.
Since i cant accept karbon looking or feeling wrong even in the smallest
aspect, there are two options for me:
1) the said behaviour
    - will be changed in general, or
    - could be easily changed for one application (i dont see this
      currently)
2) make karbon a non-koffice app and do many things by hand.

Sorry, to make such noise but it's important that your pet-project feels
always right (imagine one forced you to code for a different desktop which
doesnt feel right).

Have a cool (as temperature) day
Lenny
