Hi there,
it's time for the "submit your entries for the changelog" game :)

Since I'm currently away, please cc Andreas (pour@kde.org) in your
replies so that he can incorporate the entries into the announcement.

Here are the entries for KWord (boy, took a long time to read the complete diff) :

* Allow to change the charset for a selection of characters, and store
 it into the formatting (helps non-AA displays and when printing).
* Many undo/redo fixes (esp. for tables) and grouping of commands
* Non-modal "insert special character" dialog
* "Keep aspect ratio" option (when inserting/resizing images)
* Paragraph borders span the entire frame/page width
* Better auto-resizing when inserting huge images
* Support for dropping and pasting images into kword
* Insert Object submenu
* Pressing shift while moving/resizing a frame disables the grid
* Frame selection fixes (in case of overlapping frames)
* Improved auto-scrolling (also applies when moving a frame etc.)
* Improved cell auto-sizing in tables
* Improved preview in style dialog
* Text-flow fixes
* Speed optimizations (when typing)
* Frame dialog for headers and footers
* Fixed inline items in headers/footers/copied frames.
* Fixes for copying frames (with inline frames), implemented copy/paste of tables
* Table of content fixes (regeneration and page numbers)
* Fixed typographical quotes (never triggered in beta3)
* Fixed undo/redo when applying a new format to a variable,
 and when pasting text with inline items. 
* Fixed loading of multi-columns documents, and loading of cliparts
* Fixed saving of copied frames
* Fixes for part objects, zooming, and preview mode
* Better calculation of floating tables size and placement
* Revised class design for future code sharing with other koffice applications
* Coordinates relative to page corner in frame dialog
* XIM support (for Asian languages)
* Save/restore UI settings (formatting characters, frame borders, zoom)
