Ok. Does it work better this way ?

            cursor->parag()->lineStartOfChar( cursor->index(), 0, &line );
            canvas->setXimPosition( cPoint.x(), cPoint.y(), 0, h - \
cursor->parag()->lineSpacing( line ) );
