Hasn't StarWriter already been started? Or did this person never reply
back....

Hello Alexandros,
Welcome on board !

I have added you to the posters list on koffice-devel, but you still need to
subscribe to it. I'm very happy that you have chosen to work on the SDW
files, this starts to be quite a common format on Unix !

Since KWord is being reworked at the moment in CVS, I hope you can
install the CVS to use the latest version - the file format has slightly
changed, so better work with the current version of KWord if possible.
(see http://www.kde.org/anoncvs.html) - and this way you can bug
me if you find bugs or missing features :-)

When you have the skeleton of your filter ready (doesn't need to be
fully functional yet, on the contrary!), send me an email and I'll create
a CVS account for you.

David.
