Look at the kde-cvs mailing-list or archives.
This development is done in a separate branch.
Apparently it works with Qt 2.2.1, but I guess some of the fixes to in Qt's devel version :)

Huh. This used to work.
And it still does, for me. Hmm, it puts a digit before the plain text though.
But anyway. Read below:

Nobody said it wasn't important. Feel free to improve it or find a maintainer.
I'd like to port it to the structure that was recently put in place for the ascii and docbook
filters, but I can't find the time to do that.
