The way forward is essentially to just do it. As casper is too busy right now and we have not gotten other volunteers on this list I think the way forward is to write down the ideas and (UI designs) on a public place. Our wiki, for instance. Then some technical guys add plenty of details to allow anyone to just start doing it and get visible results without any of the core devs *having* to put time into that. The rationale there is that we want any dev off the street to be able to pick up this item and run with it. Call back as often as possible, but its imporant to not wait on each other etc. So, after we get a design written down; some steps written down how to get started etc. I think we should blog and get this idea out there. Let anyone that feels up to the task start doing it. I can volunteer for the technical stuff; if nobody beats me to it. Anyone for writing the design up? Send me an email if you want it on wiki.koffice.org but don't have writing rights there. -- Thomas Zander _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel
