I'm also more in favor of position 2. However I think it should be possible to 
remove copyright. And in fact it is as it is defined in the policy. There is 
still the possibility to remove a copyright when you have good arguments and 
those are agreed on by the developer or on the mailing list it can be removed.

I like this version and I think we should use that until KDE has its own 
policy.
