Firstly welcome Thomas

I think this is a really important initiative to take up usability study of the \
KOffice to see pitfalls particularly as a community if we are marching towards end \
user readiness. If the usability is bad then this goal cannot be met and hence this \
is to be done seriously. I am not sure the level of commitment to update the UI based \
on the usability analysis usually I see it would be good to take the feedback \
seriously as this come from end user perspective and not technical point of view.

I am responding to this email as I was discussing with Inge and Boud earlier about \
introducing students of design and interaction to carry out such a usability studies \
and it was welcomed. Whenthe students start the project I will introduce them to the \
community. Hopefully this will help and will be valuable feedback.

I am encouraged with Thomas joining in Welcome Thomas!!

regards, Suresh Chande
