Hi,
I am working on header/footer layout bug and I have realized that the h/f b=
ehavior is not correct.
The problem appears when draw objects are inserted into main body text and =
the placement of this objects reach into h/f area.
Then h/f resizes according to wrapping set in drawing object.
But it is not correct, because all h/f in all pages with the same page styl=
e should look the same.
When we let main body draw objects influence the h/f layout, problem appear=
s because different pages can have different placement of main body draw o=
bjects.
Microsoft word solution (2007)
Microsoft word solved this issue by not allowing main body draw objects to =
influence h/f layout .
H/f anchored draw object are allowed to influence main body text layout.
Open Office solution (3.1)
Open office solved this issue by not allowing any of the draw objects to in=
fluence h/f layout.
H/f anchored draw object are allowed to influence main body text layout.
I suggest that the Microsoft word solution should be implemented into kword=
.
Comments are welcome.
Thanks
