I'm trying to tell you that I'm *NOT* making any decisions, please understand 
that as that changes the whole story and there is nothing to be disappointed 
about.  As I'm not making any decisions, I'm not pulling seniority.

I see how you can confuse me giving a quick answer as being a decision, but 
honestly its not. Its only repeating what has been said before and decided 
long ago by the people that worked on it.

I'm not sure what more to say.
Just that we are two different people, assumptions about reasoning and 
backgrounds should be avoided as they just cause confusion and frustration. 
Assumptions are in general easy to verify, just ask a direct question.
