Hi,
I am facing the problem like:

root@joha-laptop:~/kde4/inst# kword

Protocol not specified.
Kword:cannot connect to X server :0

While after compiled the code ..

I have done the following steps while compiling the code:

 cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$HOME/kde4/inst $HOME/kde4/src/koffice
 make
 make install
It created the binary image on /root/kde4/bin/.......

Please let me know .how to connect to x server while invoking through terminal..
