I don't know exactly, just an idea:

Maybe you could try to update automoc? And (Or) Qt?

I heard some buzz about some changes in automoc syntax that demanded
it's update for new versions of Qt. Maybe that is the case? (just an
idea, don't know whether it's right)

PS:
I have Qt 4.5.2 and automoc 0.9.88 it works, but i use linux machine.
