This is a preliminary note.

We are looking at arranging a KOffice meeting at the KDAB offices near the end 
of November. Normally we have done a lot of design at these meetings, but 
this one will be a bit different.

We want to have two tracks: 
 * one technical track where the maintainers, release people and other 
interested people go through the code and try to find as many issues as 
possible before the release.  A review of each application is probably 
appropriate here too.
* one promo track where we invite people like Jos, Sebas and Alexandra and 
where we can lay out our marketing strategy for KOffice both for itself and 
in relation to KDE 4.2 and onwards.

When I visited KDAB this summer, I got an employee at that office to volunteer 
to arrange it: Thomas Moenicke. I haven't been able to reach him yet to find 
out if the offer still stands, but I have talked to the local Capo (Miroslav) 
and he says "just send a email and it will happen". :-)

I am sending this mail as an early warning / notification so that you can see 
in your agendas which weekend would be best. The last or 2nd last weekend in 
november would fit me fine, but if necessary we can do it a little earlier or 
later.  Not too close to christmas, though.
