Right now Lokalize uses std qtextedit widget with qsyntaxhighlighter -- and this is enough for gettext. I'd like to implement XLIFF inline elements handling (I use qdomdocument to parse xml). This is specification: http://docs.oasis-open.org/xliff/v1.2/os/xliff-core.html#Struct_InLine The first solution I see is mad-hacking with QTextCursor::insertImage and qsvgrenderer, creating character maps to / children. I'm interested in your opinion on this.
