I think that would indeed be the best idea; maybe a sligtly modified 
version of the test to only take the snippet of ODF you need and then 
compare the QTextBlock etc.
The problem with doing that, as you point out, is that it takes work. I'll 
see if I can make some proof-of-concept unittests since I already know 
all the classes used in QTextDocument (QTextBlock QTextCharFormat etc) 
that need to be queried.
