Seems like the same backtrace you send me some time ago and I replied to
you privately (attached again); how did my suggestions go there?

Naturally you can just disable the simpletextedit for your local install
(since I heard from a lot of people that tried and like it so it works
for them, it seems you do something a tad different or something...)
Or just alter your kwordrc to disable this specific plugin from loading ;)
see ShapePlugins and ShapePluginsDisabled in that file.

My first guess would be for you to do a clear recompile ;)

Seriously, though. I don't have any such crashes and the backtraces seem to
me to be very very strange to create a crash...
For example, the simpletext edit crashing on line;
      QHash<QString, QAction *> actions = m_canvas->toolProxy()->actions();
seems very odd since we know the toolProxy has the tool (since the toolproxy
is the one that emitted the signal) and the canvas certainly has a toolproxy
since we just used it to connect to the proxy...

If a clean install doesn't halpe, maybe you can add some asserts in that
plugin to check what is actually the reason for a crash. Or just run it
through valgrind ;)
