Easilty the best tutorial to get started is

you will need the following subversion modules:

qt-copy
kdesupport
kdelibs
kdepimlibs
koffice

You will also need to to install quite a few development packages, but the=

cmake scripts warn about those. From the top of my head: glpk, lcms,=20
boost-dev, the X11 dev packages. There will be a few more.
