Ha, ha, ha. Should have said "krita", or course, for the literary connaisseurs

Yep, I optimize where I can, I can't optimize where I cannot. Sure, sparc 
users are free to contribute here, as are powerpc users, arm users, alpha 
users, mips users and amd64 users.

Nope. No idea at all. Perhaps people with other processors can contribute 
code? Otherwise they'll have to settle for a second-rate solution. Same as 
with opengl, really. People who don't have opengl don't have the very best 
experience. Such is life. Maybe amd64 is fast enough that it doesn't need the 
optimization intel32 need. I don't know, I don't have access to that 
platform.

But don't get you drawers in a knot, I'll see whether I can fix the check so 
it distinguishes correctly between am64 and intel.
