Whether it's implemented using koproperty or WINAPI or Flake or FooBarMetaProgramming, it does not matter, the proposal is about functionality so do not use the points from a different thread. The fact is that Konqueror-like bloat makes people feel lost (e.g. the the bloated QLayouts still cannot be displayed on my 1280x800 screen, BTW). Adding cascading modal dialogs is not an option for me. I try to remove most of dialogs anyway. Look at Linux forums how people have trouble locating even simple settings because these are covered by nearly useless options. Regarding Stefan's note, it's even better to have the about:config GUI highter in the KDE hierarchy, so apps with more complex settings can also take advantage of that. -- regards / pozdrawiam, Jaroslaw Staniek Sponsored by OpenOffice Polska (http://www.openoffice.com.pl/en) to work on Kexi & KOffice: http://www.kexi-project.org, http://www.koffice.org KDE3 & KDE4 Libraries for MS Windows: http://kdelibs.com, http://www.kde.org _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel
