Hi folks...

Yesterday i got a bug report for karbon stating that it renders radial
gradients in the opposite way of openoffice (see
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137639) . The difference is that oo
renders radial gradients so that the gradient 100% color stop is shown at the
center of the radial gradient whereas a karbon and a lot other applications
(i.e. kriata, inkscape) render a radial gradient starting at the center with
the 0% color stop. I looked at the odf spec and it is not described there how
to actually render a radial gradient. The svg spec says to render them
starting from the center point.
The question now is how do we, as in karbon and koffice handle that. Do we
follow oo in its way or do we stick to the behaviour found in other
applications.

Any suggestions?

Ciao Jan
