Hello, This is proposal for two BoF sessions. Nothing special, but perhaps someone will be interested. 1. KDE Development on Windows Purpose: - discuss issues like installer and compatibility with target compilers - scope of porting, integration with the OS - demonstration of win32 development environment (Kexi/win32 on KDE3.5) - what's new after moving to Qt4/KDE4 2. Desktop Databases and Rapid Development tools for the Enterprise Topics: - sharing data models between apps (Kontact, CSV files, KSpread, regular databases); defining well-structured 'data sources' within the apps - Dynamic Data Exchange for KDE (a complement for dbus) - an option for dropping "file" paradigm: alternative database storage (advantages and drawbacks) - multiuser and parallel access to data in KDE - optional web interfaces for the above 2 * up-to-1 hour. Maybe on wednesday, September 27th? -- regards / pozdrawiam, Jaroslaw Staniek Sponsored by OpenOffice Polska (http://www.openoffice.com.pl/en) to work on Kexi & KOffice: http://www.kexi-project.org, http://www.koffice.org KDE3 & KDE4 Libraries for MS Windows: http://kdelibs.com, http://www.kde.org _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel
