Even worse, this is an example of KDE application which tried to resolve
problem which was already resolved (audiocd:/ kio-slave in
konqueror/krusader or file manager of your choice beats hand down any
specialized ripping program IMHO).

The example which is brutally useful I used and found really useful is
Workbook sharing in M$ Excel -- contrary to the KWord (or AbiWord -- see my
previous post) example where I really don't feel that it is that useful, I
was working with like five people entering data into huge Excel spreadsheet
shared on LAN and it really saved us a lot of time and work (because we
didn't have to maintain different versions of the spreadsheet).
