Well, just test kword's config dialog after you implement the font stuff in kformula's initialization :)
That dialog triggers kformula init too, since the kformula config is part of it.

Yes but this might go through the same code paths in KFormula.

You can't "restart a part", the expression doesn't make sense since it's all in one process;
I guess you mean reloading the part, but that's not supported at the low level
(dlclose gave us tons of crashes when we tried using it). So yes if you change
the code in the kformula part you need to restart the application.
