It would help a lot with a few bugs and problem Krita has currently -- it's 
inexplicable to a user that they cannot work in one window while the other 
one is running one of the really lengthy filters. I'd be very happy to create 
a new process for every document: but there you get the problem. I can have 
two windows on the same document, or two windows on two different documents. 
The first is not amenable to one process per window.
