Hi,
For example when I add meta:keyword into KoDocumentInfoAbout, I added support 
for old koffice file format.
See into code.

So if you add it, you can add for example tag = initial-creator into old file 
format.
see "bool KoDocumentInfoAbout::load( const QDomElement& e )"

Otherwise application which not used openoffice file format will not add these 
feature.
