That's not a problem, if this filter isn't needed anymore.

To really deactivate this filter on existing installations, when installing from sources,
it might be a good idea to use an uninstall.desktop  - see
http://developer.kde.org/documentation/makefile_am_howto/en/_uninstalling_a_desktop_file_.html
