It happens in find/replace/spellcheck. Is underlining done on purpose? If yes, one does not need textdoc->setInvertSelectionText( HighlightSelection, true ); in lib/kotext/kotextobject.cc: void KoTextObject::highlightPortion ? I tried KWord commenting out the line above, highlighted text is underlined and visible. IMHO, the old behavior, i.e. dark color for highlighting, would be better.
