Right. There were plans for that, but they didn't get implemented (yet?).

This is probably a good solution for KChart. It doesn't really apply to other
apps though, since for them actual text needs to be in the templates (e.g.
"Address", "Fax number" etc, and anything else the creator of the template
might think of, so the program can't possible have "functions" for that).
