Hi list,

I was on #koffice the other day asking about helping with kformula. Well i've
checked out the latest koffice sources (all of them) and i've configured it
but i've hit a snag with the libraries.

When it gets to kofficecore it fails, all i get is

if /usr/pkg/bin/bash ../../libtool --silent --tag=CXX --mode=compile g++
-DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I../../lib/store -I../../lib/store
-I../../lib/kwmf -I../../lib/kwmf -I/usr/pkg/include -I/usr/pkg/qt3/include
-I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/pkg/include -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT
-Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith
-Wwrite-strings -g3 -fno-inline -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common
-DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT
-DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -Woverloaded-virtual -MT koDocInfoPropsFactory.lo -MD
-MP -MF ".deps/koDocInfoPropsFactory.Tpo" -c -o koDocInfoPropsFactory.lo
koDocInfoPropsFactory.cc; then mv -f ".deps/koDocInfoPropsFactory.Tpo"
".deps/koDocInfoPropsFactory.Plo"; else rm -f
".deps/koDocInfoPropsFactory.Tpo"; exit 1; fi
make: don't know how to make ./libkofficecore.la. Stop

i've been getting this error since last night.

For setting up the build i followed the examples given at

http://developer.kde.org/source/anoncvs.html

and

http://wiki.kdenews.org/tiki-index.php?page=Compiling+KOffice+Step+by+Step

to the letter.

I'm guessing that i've done something wrong but i cant spot it.

Any suggestions any one?

Thanks

Mark
